I'm happy to say that Mpowered did a terrific job on my Porsche 911 (996). Thanks to some due diligence, they were able to save me the cost of a replacement fuel level sending unit, by correctly diagnosing the problem and fixing the faulty component instead of just throwing parts at the problem like some shops may have. Thanks guys!
A lot of wonderful, glowing reviews that all sound the same, but here is my review for MPowered: I was almost overcharged $150 when I came to my car to pick it up. After showing the "office manager" the estimate that was e-mailed to me the day before and the pricing that I agreed to, she tried to tell me that they forgot to add a couple parts to the service job on my estimate. She tried arguing with me, but then finally decided to take it off. She was rather insistent on me paying an amount that I had clearly never agreed or approved to. If there was such a pricing error made by them, they should have called and told me beforehand. As I got in my car and drove away, I heard a steady clicking noise that was not there previously so I turn back around and go back into the office to hear the same woman complaining about how I was upset as I walk back in. The clicking noise gets fixed by a tech after hours. I didn't catch his name, but he was helpful and polite. I had previously been working with Joey the day before and he was courteous as well. But overall, I'm a bit surprised with the lack of professionalism, diligence, and integrity from MPowered that I received this past visit. I started going there because yes, they are significantly less than Johnson Lexus, and who doesn't like saving money. As a previous customer who has spent a couple thousand dollars in the past year or so at MPowered, it's disappointing to feel like their work and service may not have been 100% up to par. I'm not sure if I will be returning there again and referring any friends/colleagues to have their BMW/Lexus serviced. ******Update: The owner called and apologized for this visit. I ended up bringing my car back in to find that my car's oil was still leaking. They gave me a loaner for four days while they had my car. Oil leak eventually got taken care of and I will be a returning customer. Thank you.
I took my E90 330i BMW in to Mpowered to install suspension parts (springs and shocks) as well as Angel Eyes. Jordan and the Mpowered team were terrific. Not only were the excellent communicators throughout the entire process, calling me with updates and information, they had the best price in the area. I had taken my car to a few different shops, all quoting me higher than Mpowered. Their waiting room is great. Fully equipped with snacks, drinks, and a giant TV. Instead of sitting around waiting for my car, they took me into the back to watch work being done on my car and others. They truly do have a strong passion and interest in your vehicle and performance in general. Very friendly and courteous. I would recommend this shop to anyone who needs any work done on their car. I would not trust my car anywhere else.
MPowered was recommended to me for BMW service by a friend and I had been looking for a reliable service provider for my car. I took my 528i in with multiple indicator lights lit on the dash. They knew it would take awhile to diagnose the issues and provided me with a loaner BMW which was much appreciated. Many things needed to be fixed and they took care of all of them at what I thought was a reasonable price. My car was there for 5 days but the loaner was mine to keep for that week! I picked my car up and it is running better than ever. Customer service seems to be #1 in their book! I would recommend them to any BMW owner!
One of the nicest, most professional shops I have ever been to. Quality does not even begin to describe the kind of work these guys put in. They are dedicated in doing it right the first time.
Michael, Jordan, Joey, Dave and the rest of the guys at Mpowered Auto are great. I've brought my bimmer in to them a few times now and I'm completely satisfied with the professionalism and the results.
I have an older Mercedes (1997 Eclass) and when my personal mechanic moved out of state, he recommened MPowered. Every experience I've had with the group has been excellent. I had a bad taste in my mouth about mechanics from previous experiences over the years. But MPowered has changed all of that. I look forward to the friendly and respectful service, as well as the informative answers that I receive from the staff. The enviorment is also pleasant with free snacks, wireless access (so I can work while I wait), movies, and even video games for the kids to stay entertained. And unlike many other places, they don't rattle off a bunch of "you-need-this-fixed-immediately" mumbo-jumbo to get more out of your pockets while you are there. Also, I've priced their services and they really are the least expensive I've found in the Raleigh area for Mercedes repairs. Most importantly, the work done on my vehicle has never required a re-visit. They also respoond to emailed appointment requests within 15 minutes. It's so seemless with this group. I recommend them to any luxury vehicle owner.
I drive a 2005 Mercedes and was recently looking at about 2k plus in repairs from the dealership and thought I would see what MPowered could offer. Not only did they do the work properly but they cut the dealership prices almost in half. Mike, the service adviser, kept me updated throughout the process on the status of my car and was never pushy about any repairs that weren't necessary. As if all this wasn't enough reason to take your business there, all of the employees at MPowered went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule and truly appreciated my business (something not found at bigger shops). I won't hesitate to take my business to MPowered in the future and am glad I've found a trustworthy shop to take care of my car.
My 2001 Audi A4 was having a ton of problems and I wasn't satisfied with the auto shop I had been using in Chapel Hill. After reading all their reviews, I decided to take the car into M Powered and I'm glad I did. Michael at M Powered was, far and away, the most pleasant customer service rep I've spoken with. He talked me through all my options in great detail (explaining everything I didn't understand), gave me time to decide on the best course of action, and always looked out for my best interest. I received regular updates from him while the car was being repaired, and he called twice after to see how everything worked out. I also had an iPod adapter installed on the car in addition to the engine work, and Matt, one of the mechanics at M Powered, adjusted the adapter on the spot when I decided I preferred it in another location on the car! That was awesome. The final bill also ended up being less than my initial estimate, which is unheard of at an auto shop. And now my car is running better than it was when I first got it! This is the best auto shop in the Triangle, hands down.
Hi my name is John K.Johnson, I live in Apex, NC. I live next door to Mike Doherty who has been a great neighbor for 7 years. I have two vehicles and Mike and Matt have worked on them for five years off and on. My in-laws would always take their vehicle back to the dealer until I asked them to take their car to MPowered. From there they where sold on Mike's professional manners. Please understand that yes Mike is my neighbor but I used to take my car to a family own shop in Cary, NC. until I found out that they were not giving me the customer service that I thought. It all started when they quoted me a price for work that I didn't need and the price was high. I contacted Mike and he had Matt go over my car with a fine tooth comb and found that my car did in fact need some of those things but not all. I also find that Mike replaces factory parts back in your vehicle and the parts come with a 24 months guarantee, not 12 months. It might cost you a little more but in the end it is well worth it. I can honestly say thanks to MPowered, my family and I went to Erie, PA. two weeks ago and have never felt more safe. Thanks MPowered.... JKJ
